What are the opening hours of THE LUME Colorado?

THE LUME Colorado is open five days a week. Opening and closing times are subject to change. Please check times on the date you wish to attend.

Our standard entry times are:
Wednesday - Thursday: 9 am – 9 pm
Friday - Saturday: 9 am – 10 pm
Sunday: 9 am – 9 pm

Tickets are sold as timed entry. Last ticket sold one hour prior to close.

Please note that Dalí Alive will close on January 29th.

Where is THE LUME Colorado located within Stanley Marketplace?

THE LUME Colorado is located at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado. Once inside the building, follow directional signs to THE LUME Colorado, located in the northwest corner of Stanley Marketplace.

Accessibility at THE LUME Colorado?

THE LUME Colorado is wheelchair accessible throughout the entire experience. All entrances and restroom facilities at Stanley Marketplace are also wheelchair accessible. Accessible parking is available near the south, east and north entrances to Stanley Marketplace.

What special effects are used at THE LUME Colorado?

THE LUME Colorado experience does not include smoke, haze or strobe lights. While the projected images and animations within the experience are slow-moving, if you are sensitive to moving light or have been diagnosed with photosensitive epilepsy, please be advised that some moving light may trigger seizures in some people. If you are feeling unwell, please let our friendly staff know.

Please note that the following scents are included in the Dalí Alive experience: Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cypress, Vetiver, Lemon, Cedarwood, Wood Accord, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk. ScentAir, the company we have engaged to curate the aromas for the Dalí Alive experience, only use synthetic oils derived from natural ingredients. All ScentAir's oils are tested to the highest available standards and they are the only scent company in the world to be a member of IFRA.

Can I use cash at the box office, café or merchandise area?

THE LUME Colorado is a cash-free venue. No cash is accepted as a form of payment anywhere within the venue. We accept all major credit and debit cards and forms of contactless payment.

Can I bring in bags? What items are prohibited?

We encourage visitors to leave bags at home and to avoid bringing any large items. Bags may be visually inspected at entry by THE LUME Colorado staff and may be required to be kept in your vehicle during the experience.

The following items are prohibited:
• Food and beverage including alcohol
• Illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs
• Flammable devices (flares, fireworks and smoke bombs)
• Anything that could be used as a weapon such as sharp items including knives
• Suspicious items or items which may look like a weapon
• Professional cameras or recording devices
• Laser pointers
• Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
• Personal chairs or other furniture
• Any other item that may cause harm or public nuisance or could interfere with others in the venue

Are food and drinks available inside the venue? Am I allowed to bring my own?

Food and drinks are not allowed in the experience. We encourage you to visit any one of the fine, independent restaurants, cafes and bars within Stanley Marketplace before or after visiting THE LUME Colorado.

How long is the Dalí Alive experience running?

THE EXPERIENCE

When should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the time displayed on your entry ticket. Due to the popularity of the experience, we may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive outside your ticketed time.

Are there Salvador Dalí paintings on display in the venue?

The experience is not an art exhibition in the traditional sense and there are no physical original works by Salvador Dalí on display.

It is an immersive multi-sensory art experience that combines high-definition projections of Dalí’s paintings with digital surround sound, projected at a scale of 21 feet high which offers visitors the ability to see the details of the artist’s work unlike ever before. More than 3,000 images transform every wall and floor surface.

What is the best way to see the experience?

We encourage you to move around freely to view THE LUME Colorado from different perspectives and visit all areas of interest, including trying your hand at drawing in the studio, listening to Dalí on specially-produced lobster-phones or grabbing a selfie on our replica “Mae West” couch. There is some seating available, and you can sit on the floor or stand against the walls, always being mindful of other visitors in the venue.

Which scents are diffused during the experience?

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. There is no minimum age to visit the experience, all young children should be accompanied by a responsible person.

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos inside the experience. Please be considerate of other visitors when taking photos. If you post them on social media, use the hashtag #thelumecolorado so more people can see the experience through your eyes.

Please be advised that flash photography is not permitted inside THE LUME Colorado.

Commercial photography or video is not permitted at THE LUME Colorado without prior written permission.

TICKETING

Do I need a ticket?

Yes, ticket bookings are required.

We strongly recommend you book tickets online in advance. Some times, particularly during school holidays, can be heavily booked. To ensure a comfortable and safe visit for all visitors, access to THE LUME Colorado is by timed entry.

All patrons require a ticket for fire and security access control. This includes children 0-4 years old. Free tickets for children 0-4 years old can be purchased online.

What are the ticket options and prices?

Ticket prices and entry times vary according to the time and date booked. Prices will vary for peak periods such as school holidays, and additional transaction fees may apply. Best rates and availability can be found during our mid-week times. Group discounts for groups of 8 or more can be purchased for Wednesday or Thursday attendance from our website.

Where do I buy a ticket?

Tickets for Dalí Alive at THE LUME Colorado are available through Showclix which is our ONLY authorized ticket seller. Please be aware that THE LUME Colorado has no obligation to honor tickets purchased via unauthorized resellers, such as Stubhub, SeatGeek or Facebook Marketplace.

There will also be self-service points of sale at the venue, however advanced bookings are recommended as some times may sell out.

What if I am sick on the day of my visit?

Please do not attend the gallery if you are experiencing or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, are required to be in quarantine or isolation, or have been in contact (or suspect you have been in contact) with someone diagnosed with COVID-19.

What are we doing to deliver a COVID-Safe experience?

THE LUME Colorado is designed to be a personal journey of exploration allowing visitors to self-distance. Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff.

This includes:
• Timed and staggered entry with separate entry and exits to the gallery
• Limited ticket capacity within each session time slot to allow for physical distancing
• Providing sanitizer stations throughout the venue
• Additional cleaning of the venue in high-traffic areas
• Online tickets to limit handling and minimizing box office queues
• Flexible ticketing to make exchanges available to anyone who is unwell.
• A cash-free venue.
